Rosetta Stone software is supposed to be the best. But I think it’s expensive. I would recommend that you immerse yourself in it. It’s tough to become proficient in a foreign language unless you actually use it in every possible way - by speaking it, hearing it, reading it.
Lastly, a good vocabulary base goes a long way. Even if you don’t fully understand the conjugation of the verbs that well, you can generally get a clue about what is being said from the nouns in the sentences.
