It depends on how you learn, but one good computer program is Rosetta Stone. If you don’t want to do that, then just watching a Spanish channel on TV is also good…

The surest way is to have a Spanish speaking friend who is willing to converse with you in Spanish. Reading bilingual texts is also helpful.

I speak both (Spanish is my first language). I suggest you visit your local library and do some research. CDs and books are great if you are motivated (and it is very remarkable from you that you want to learn their language).
I also suggest you use your own Latino students. It is a good way for them to feel motivated and the self esteem increased. Many of them tend to think very low of their culture and themselves, and some try to hide their families and avoid speaking Spanish in front of other kids.
You can also invite some Latino parents and try to learn with them. It will make them feel better, encourage them to learn English (which they should do if they moved to an English spoken country), and they will feel useful teaching their language to you and sharing. You may also engage them in community work, or school work and then all the parties will feel better.
Good luck.

If you’re looking for Spanish programs - I suggest you take a look at this article:
It’s got a review of the top 3 Spanish courses you can buy and gives you the “low-down” on what they all give you and stuff.
It’s a great little site that I used to get my Spanish program that I’m working on right now!
